At the Church
of Ireland General Synod were Glendalough
representatives Annette Camier and Henry Alexander.
Also present were Canon
Horace McKinley (Dublin) and Canon Desmond
Harman (honorary secretary of the General
Synod).
Their last
General Synod: Mrs Judith Mayes, Archbishop
Empey and Comdt Arthur Cronhelm.
At the Girls'
Friendly Society (GFS) service in St Patrick's
cathedral were Shirleen Moody, Rebecca Gray
and Stacey Talbot.
GFS leaders
from Athy Branch Carol Coyle, Anne Hendy and
Hazel Condell.
At the launch of the Follow
Me website were Michelle Carter,
Bishop Richard Clarke and Jacqui Wilkinson.
Also at the launch were
Archdeacon Edgar Swann with three of the
teachers involved in developing Stepping
Out, the RE Programme for Class 1: Ivor
Hayes, Gloria Armitage and Carolyn Good.
At the Diocesan
Board of Education Seminar were Senan Murray
(Sandford National School) Liz Fitzroy (Kill
O'the Grange) and Trish Conran ( Booterstown).
Also attending
were the Revd Alan Rufli (Holmpatrick &
Balbriggan), Mary Rutledge (Irishtown), Heather
McLachlan (Whitechurch) and Caroline Hill
(Clondalkin).
