The Sunday School Society marks its bi-centenary during 2009 and the climax of the celebrations will be a Concert 'A Celebration of Childhood' on Friday 22nd May at 7.30pm in Rathfarnham Parish Church, Rathfarnham Village, Dublin 14.

The Concert will include junior choirs from parishes in Dublin - Kilternan, Taney, Mount Merrion & Rathfarnham - Singer Imelda Morris and the Stedfast Band.  Tickets for adults cost €10 while entrance for children is free.  This promises to be a special evening of music and we hope you can join us in the celebration.

As part of the bi-centenary celebrations the dedicated charity has been Sightsavers International.  The Society launched a Lenten Children's Project to raise money for the charity and many parishes from throughout the Church of Ireland have taken part.  Leader and children's packs included an easy to use lesson, bible story, games, worksheets, Braille cards, pencils, DVD and all the information needed.
