Last Chance to Register for Come & C Day

Dublin and Glendalough’s Come & C Day is fast approaching. The event, at which members of the dioceses will decide on themes for the forthcoming year, takes place on Saturday September 12 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm in the High School, Rathgar.

The Come&C Day promises to be an exhilarating forum at which people from across the dioceses can reflect on the outcome of the Come & C survey which was completed by parishioners last year. Arising out of the day’s discussions, theme’s for next year’s Come & C initiative will be chosen.

Interested parties who would like to attend on the day may register by emailing the Archbishop’s secretary at archdublinoffice@gmail.com, including your name and parish, no later than Wednesday next, September 1. Invitations have been issued to all parishes in Dublin and Glendalough asking the rector and four parishioners to attend. Curates may also attend. For catering purposes, parishes are asked to return the details of who is coming and their email addresses by September 1.

The Come & C initiative will run in Dublin and Glendalough throughout the year of 2016. It is aimed at the entire United Dioceses and will look at ways of supporting individuals and parishes in their discipleship. It will also encourage people to see that what they do in their parishes nurtures and supports the whole dioceses.

The September 12 forum will be facilitated by Dr David Tuohy SJ. Participants will look at the responses to the Come & C survey against the backdrop of the Five Marks of Mission of the Anglican Communion.
