Press Releases / Events Taking Place in Dublin & Glendalough for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will take place from January 18 to 25 – the octave of St Peter and St Paul.  This year’s theme is Crossing Barriers and is based on 2 Corinthians 5:14–20. It originated in Germany, drawing on the country’s experience of reconciliation and integration. More details and resources are available at: https://ctbi.org.uk/week-of-prayer-for-christian-unity-2017/

In Dublin & Glendalough there are a large number of events to choose from for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2017. Dublin Council of Churches has compiled a leaflet containing details of events. The leaflet can be downloaded here.

The Inaugural Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will take place in Christ Church, Taney, on Wednesday January 18 at 8.00 pm, by kind permission. This service is organised by the Dublin Council of Churches, as per tradition, and all are welcome.
