On Sunday 22 November 2009, the Dublin Council of Churches Ecumenical Walk of Light will take place on the Evening of Christ The King. Those participating will assemble at the University Church, St Stephen's Green at 6pm and will process past various Churches including Christ Church, Leeson Park and ending at St Bartholomew's, Clyde Road at 8pm.

24.11.2009 Lecture on Cuman Gaelach na hEaglaise 1914-2009 by Dáithí Ó Maolchoile in Christ Church Cathedral
As part of the celebrations to mark the 95th Anniversary of the Foundation of Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise (the Irish Guild of the Church) there will be a series of lectures in Christ Church Cathedral on successive Tuesdays in November 2009. On Tuesday 24 November Dáithí Ó Maolchoille of Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise will speak on Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise 1914-2009: An Overview. The lectures will be in English and will last 25-30 minutes and will be followed by a short discussion at which contrbutions in Irish will be most welcome. At 6pm on Thursday 26 November 2009, Professor Raymond Gillespie of the Department of History in NUI Maynooth will launch the Proctors Accounts of the Parish Church of St Werburgh's, Dublin 1481-1627 edited by the Revd Canon Adrian Empey and published by Four Courts Press.
