DUBLIN CHURCH'S LIVELY ENCOUNTERS IN CORK AND LIMERICK

C.O.R.E. - City Outreach through Renewal and Evangelism located at St Catherine's Church Thomas Street and led by its minister, the Revd Willi Stewart, recently had the first of a series of 'Encounter' evenings, of which the next will be this Saturday in Limerick.

The evenings encompass music, worship, preaching, drama, prayer & testimony. They are for all ages and the focus is on encountering Jesus through worship in a very personal way, hence the name 'Encounter'.

These 'Encounters' are a number of outreach events in parishes around the country, the first of which was down in Blarney in County Cork and which was a great success. The Blarney 'Encounter' had a lively team of 15 who lead worship, teaching, testimony, drama and prayer ministry. It was a great evening, which members of CORE hope was very encouraging for those who attended in Cork and certainly very valuable for the CORE members to give away what God has gifted to them.

CORE looks forward to their next evening in Limerick on the 29th of March and are hoping and praying for other open doors and opportunities. 'Certainly it reminds us of the power of the kingdom principle that is in giving to others that we ourselves receive' said Willi Stewart. 'It was great to see the excitement of the team as they realized that in simple ways they were able to bless and encourage the faith of others'.
