POSITION

VACANT INCUMBENCIES
UNITED DIOCESES OF DUBLIN AND GLENDALOUGH

The following parishes are already vacant, or will shortly become so. Boards of Nomination will meet in due course, but not before the end of November, when short lists will be established.

Monkstown
This is a parish with one church in a key position in a well established residential area close to Dun Laoghaire. This parish provides scope for many aspects of ministry, and there is a well-established pattern of parish life.

Drumcondra and North Strand
This parish on the north side of the city has two churches and two schools. It is a busy parish with regular midweek worship and parish organisations. The area is changing and the parish is welcoming to newcomers.

St Bartholmew's, Clyde Road with Christ Church, Leeson Park
This parish in Ballsbridge has two churches, but only St Bartholomew's is used for Sunday worship. It is in the Anglican Catholic tradition, and also serves several chaplaincies. The congregation is drawn from a wide area.

Blessington and Kilbride with Hollywood and Ballymore
This rural parish with three churches is in an area of growth. A new school is being built, and many families are moving into the area. There is a variety of ministry with both a well established rural community and those moving out from the city.

Please apply for particulars of any of the above parishes to:
Ms Lucy Connolly, P.A. to the Archbishop of Dublin,
17 Temple Road, Milltown, Dublin 6,
