ARCHBISHOP OF DUBLIN EXTENDS SYMPATHY
TO THE FAMILIES OF THE FIREFIGHTERS

Statement from the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Revd JRW Neill

'On behalf of the Church of Ireland community, Archbishop John Neill extends deepest sympathy to the families of the late Brian Murray and Mark O'Shaughnessy, both members of the Wicklow County Fire Service. The courage and dedication of the fire fighters who serve us all is something that must not be taken for granted, and all possible support must be extended to the fire services. My prayer is that the bereaved families will know God's strength at this time of tragic loss. We must also remember in our prayers those suffering from trauma and injury arising out of this incident.'
