PATRON'S GUIDELINES
FOR APPOINTMENTS OF TEACHERS AND SPECIAL NEEDS
ASSISTANTS PUBLISHED
The Archbishop of Dublin, in his
capacity as Patron of several Church of Ireland
National Schools, today published his guidelines
to assist School Boards of Management and Principals
on the rules and procedures involved in the appointment
of Teachers and Special Needs Assistants.
The Guidelines are being published
in the light of the revised Constitution of Boards
and Rules of Procedure for the Boards of Management
of National Schools, issued by the Department
of Education and Science in November 2007 and
available at the Department’s website at
www.education.ie.
