New Rector Appointed to Killiney-Ballybrack

The Revd Dr William Olhausen has been appointed Rector of Killiney-Ballybrack. Dr Olhausen is currently chaplain at Monkton School in Monkton Combe, Bath and will take up his new position at Easter.

Speaking of his appointment, Dr Olhausen expressed his and his family's delight to be joining the church family in Killiney-Ballybrack. He said he was looking forward to getting to know all of the parishioners and "to see what God has in store for us over the years to come".

Dr Olhausen was deaconed in 1998 and priested in 1999. He has previously worked as a curate in Reading, Greyfriars, Oxford (1998-2001); substitute chaplain in HMYOI, Reading; associate vicar in Holy Trinity in Cambridge (2001-2004) and Rector in Carrigrohane, Cork (2004-2008).
