Christ Church Theft to Feature on Crimecall
The theft of the heart of St Laurence O’Toole from Christ Church Cathedral will feature on RTE’s Crimecall programme next Tuesday. The programme will broadcast CCTV footage of two suspects who Gardai believe may be connected with the incident.
The preserved heart was taken from the cathedral two and a half weeks ago and the Dean, the Very Revd Dermot Dunne, is praying that the screening of CCTV footage will result in a breakthrough in the case.
The footage was captured by Dublin City Council CCTV cameras. They spotted two men running outside the cathedral and later the pair were seen running down Cook Street. Crimecall will be screened at 10.15 pm on Tuesday.
