Ministry Coordinator Appointed to Church’s Ministry of Healing

The Church’s Ministry of Healing: Ireland has announced the appointment of a Ministry Coordinator. Jessica Stone has taken on the new post which covers the entire Republic of Ireland. Jessica is taking over the office administration of the ministry but she will also help move the ministry forward under the guidance of the board. As part of her new role in promoting the organisation she will be setting up a website and newsletter to help bring the ministry’s work to a wider audience.

A native of South Carolina in the US, Jessica moved to Ireland almost five years ago. She has an undergraduate degree in Spanish and taught Spanish at secondary level in the US. She obtained an MPhil in applied linguistics from Trinity College Dublin. Since moving to Ireland she has worked in publishing and promotions.

The Church’s Ministry of Healing promotes wholeness and reconciliation in the Church of Ireland. The organisation supports dioceses around the country in having their own ministries of healing. They also hold healing services in Dublin as well as quiet days. There is a prayer ministry whereby people pray for those on the prayer list.
