Celtic Spirituality Conference
The Centre for Celtic Spirituality in Armagh is hosting a day conference on Saturday June 2 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The speaker will be Mary Fleeson, who works in the Scriptorium of Holy Island Lindisfarne.
Mary has written beautifully illustrated books of Celtic Prayer. In the morning she will speak about the power of the Lindisfarne Gospels and lead an art workshop based on the Celtic Knotwork found in the Lindisfarne Gospels.
In the afternoon she will teach us about using the symbols of knotwork as an aid to prayer and the day will conclude with Celtic Prayer in the Anglican cathedral.
The cost of the day is £25.00 sterling, including art materials.
