Training Evenings for Primary School Boards of Management
A series of training evenings has been organised for members of boards of management of primary schools in the United Dioceses. The evenings have been organised by the Dublin and Glendalough Diocesan Board of Education on behalf of the Archbishop and take place at four different locations. Board members may choose a location convenient to them but must inform their chairpersons of their choice of venue before April 24. Topics covered at the sessions will include: the board of management as a corporate entity; finance; and appointment procedures.
The training evenings will run from 7.00 pm until 9.30 pm and will take place at the following locations:
Wednesday May 2 – The King’s Hospital, Palmerstown
Thursday May 3 – Drumcondra Education Centre, Dublin 9 (beside St Patrick’s College)
Tuesday May 8 – St Patrick’s National School, Greystones
Wednesday May 9 – Church of Ireland College of Education
