New Lecturer Appointed at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute

The Church of Ireland Theological Institute has announced the appointment of Revd Patrick McGlinchey to the post of Lecturer in Missiology and Pastoral Studies. Revd McGlinchey has been a part–time member of the faculty staff team since 2009. He has graduate and post–graduate degrees in theology from the University of Nottingham and is currently completing a doctoral thesis which explores the relationship between Joseph Ratzinger’s Augustinian theology and evangelicalism. Prior to his present role within CITI, Revd McGlinchey was leader of a joint Anglican/Baptist church planting initiative in the Diocese of Norwich and then COI Chaplain to Queen’s University, Belfast. He is married to Helen and they have three children, Paul, Patrick and Timothy.
