Advent Talks Series Begins in North Strand
A series of Advent talks gets underway this evening, Wednesday November 28, in the Parish of Drumcondra, North Strand and St Barnabas. The talks will take place in the parish room in the school behind North Strand church at 7.45 pm. This evening they will welcome Martin McConigley from All Hallows who will speak on the subject ‘Expectancy in Literature’. The talks will continue on Wednesday December 5 with Grainne Doherty speaking on ‘Expectancy and Women in the Church’, Wednesday December 12 with Jenny Wakely–Devereux on ‘Expectancy and Asylum Seekers’ and Wednesday December 19 with Fr Peter McVerry on ‘Expectancy in Irish Social Change’.
