Saint Bartholomew’s Choir Concert and CD Launch
Saint Bartholomew’s choir will be launching its latest recording of the Boys and Men, Blessed be the God and Father, following their summer concert this Sunday, June 9.
The new CD contains an assortment of well known anthems and Mass settings, including Haydn’s Little Organ Mass, Benjamin Britten’s Cantata Rejoice in the Lamb and the title track, S.S. Wesley’s Easter anthem Blessed be the God and Father.
The concert will begin at 6.00 pm and will be followed a sparkling wine reception in the grounds of the church at 7.15 pm. The new CD will be launched by Tim Thurston from Lyric FM’s Gloria. Tickets are €15 (€10 concession) and are available at the door on the night.
