Gathering Church of Ireland Records Lecture in National Library
Dr Susan Hood of the RCB Library will give a lecture entitled Gathering Church of Ireland Records on Tuesday next, August 6, in the National Library of Ireland at 1.00 pm. The lecture is part of a series of genealogy lectures which will be taking place in the library’s Seminar Room each Tuesday and Thursday at 1.00 pm. Each lecture will last for 30 minutes, admission is free and no booking is required.
Tuesday’s lecture will be of interest to those who wish to pursue Church of Ireland ancestors.
The RCB Library, in Braemor Park, Churchtown, Dublin 14, holds records from over 1060 parishes, chapels of ease and chaplaincies, as well as materials from 20 cathedrals, 20 dioceses, and outline details of the collections, general introductory information and contact details are available on the Library’s website – www.library.ireland.anglican.org
