Tolerance and Acceptance the Focus of Dublin City Interfaith Forum Seminar
Dublin City Interfaith Forum and the Lutheran Church are organising an evening seminar entitled Towards Tolerance and Acceptance on Thursday November 21 from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm in the Wood Quay Venue, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin.
The evening will include an evocative performance of the Parable of the Rings by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing (Conor Doyle). This will be followed by a facilitated exploration of how society can move from tolerance to acceptance. The facilitator will be Fr Alan Hilliard of DIT. Light refreshments will be served.
The event is supported by the German Embassy and Dublin City Council.
The Dublin City Interfaith Forum whose members include Baha’I, Buddhist, Christian (including the Church of Ireland), Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh communities, works to educate and encourage people of different faiths to talk and work together in matters of policy, strategy and action and challenge all forms of injustice and discrimination.
