Revd Dr Joel Edwards to Speak in Dublin at Launch of New DVD Study
International director of the Micah Challenge, the Revd Dr Joel Edwards, will speak at the launch of The Jesus Agenda, on Wednesday 15 January 2014 in St Catherine’s Church (CORE), Thomas Street, Dublin 8.
The morning will get under way at 10.30 am with tea/coffee with proceedings starting at 11:00 am. The session will be followed by a light lunch.
The Jesus Agenda is a new resource for churches. It is a film–based, nine week course that follows Joel Edwards on a journey across four continents exploring how Luke 4 is shaping and challenging individuals, churches and organisations today.
The DVD and study guide resource is produced in partnership with Christian Aid, Compassion and Micah Challenge, and is ideal for small groups. Groups will explore how the good news of the gospel and the liberating power of the Spirit should lead 21st century Christians to become advocates of the poor and vulnerable.
Rev Dr Joel Edwards, previously General Director of the Evangelical Alliance UK, is the International Director of Micah Challenge.
