New Book on Atonement Launched in CITI

A new book Atonement as Gift: Re–Imagining the Cross for the Church and the World, edited by Dr Katie Heffelfinger and the Revd Dr Patrick McGlinchey, was launched by The Right Revd Harold Miller, Bishop of Down and Dromore, at an evening reception on Wednesday the 8th of October at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute in Dublin.

The book, published by Paternoster, is a collection of essays which arose from a symposium on the subject held at CITI in May 2011. A large number of guests – including the editors and some of the contributors – were present and were warmly welcomed by the Director of CITI, the Revd Dr Maurice Elliott.
