Archbishop to Attend Mass in Solidarity with the People of France
President Michael D Higgins will attend a special Mass in solidarity with the people of France at the Pro–Cathedral in Dublin this evening (Tuesday January 13). The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and will be attended by Archbishop Michael Jackson.
The Mass is being organised in collaboration with the Ambassador of France H.E. Jean–Pierre Thébault and begins at 5.45 pm. It will be attended by other religious leaders, members of the Diplomatic Corps, and members of the French community in Dublin are invited.
The event is seen as an opportunity for all those in Dublin who wish to show their solidarity in prayer with the people of France following the shattering attacks of the past week.
