Due to the recent closure of the National Bible Society of Ireland Shop on Dawson Street, Dublin, distributors of The Church Review can now collect their magazines from St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street. The depot at Taney Parish Centre continues to operate as usual. Only those distributors who used to collect their magazines from the Bible Society need now go to St Ann’s.

Unfortunately readers who used to purchase single copies of The Church Review from the Bible Society Shop cannot currently be facilitated under the new arrangements. They may wish to approach their parish distributor to be included in the parish subscription and they can then collect their copy from their parish church each month.

Alternatively they can subscribe to an annual subscription by post which costs €60 within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and €83 for those living outside Ireland. Details of how to subscribe are available at https://dublin.anglican.org/resources/subscriptions.php.

Featuring on the cover of this month’s magazine are members of the newly inaugurated Discovery Mother’s Union with the Diocesan President. Discovery is the Dublin and Glendalough Ministry to the international community. Also this month Canon Patrick Comerford writes about the Irish hero of Waterloo who introduced Catholic emancipation.

There are photos and reports from The Dining Room’s first anniversary celebrations at Christ Church, Dun Laoghaire, the Bishops’ Appeal workshop on responding to global poverty, the launch of the fleshandblood (FAB) campaign and the first Day of Prayer for Young People.

Also included is the usual comprehensive roundup of notes from the parishes and news from Christ Church and St Patrick’s cathedrals.
