Confirmation Candidates Gather in Greystones
More than 80 young people from the length and breadth of East Glendalough and beyond gathered in St Patrick’s Church, Greystones, last weekend for their pre–confirmation day. The confirmation candidates hailed from Whitechurch, Kilternan, Kill O’ the Grange, Rathmichael, Bray, Blessington, Greystones, Delgany, Newcastle, Castlemacadam and Arklow.
Led by Dublin & Glendalough’s Youth Ministry Coordinator, Susie Keegan with help from parish youth workers, participants enjoyed lively discussion, games and time to explore their faith in preparation for their confirmation over the coming weeks and months. They also had the opportunity to learn about Communion, its meaning and the importance of their participation in it.
