Bicentenary of Christ Church Taney
Parishioners and friends of Christ Church Taney will celebrate the bicentenary of their church with a special service on Sunday June 24 at 11am. Archbishop Michael Jackson will be in attendance and Bishop Michael Burrows, a son of the parish, will be giving the address.
The service will be followed by refreshments in the Sinamon Hall when the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross TD will be launching a revised version of a book on the history of Christ Church Taney, ‘Taney – Progress of a Parish’ by Carol Robinson Tweed.
