Releasing worship through music and song
Rathfarnham Parish seeks an organist and choir director who will also develop music in worship in the parish.
Traditional and contemporary repertoire essential.
We are blessed to have a dedicated SATB adult choir who lead worship weekly at the 10.30am main Sunday service and who meet every Wednesday from September to May for rehearsals. The choir have attained an extensive and wide ranging corpus and proficiency.
We are also blessed to have a junior choir of pupils in Rathfarnham Parish National School who participate in leading worship one Sunday a month from Sept – May. The junior choir are trained by school staff.
Our congregation are a huge blessing too with parishioners practicing a deep and sincere faith and all are very supportive of the music ministry in the parish. A collaborative approach is taken to designing special services and selecting hymns.
