Phishing Email Alert – Warning from Dublin & Glendalough

The United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough has become aware of a bogus email purporting to come from the dioceses.

Anyone receiving an email from the address: ‘United Dioceses of Dublin & Glendalough funfridays@btinternet.com’ is asked to delete it and not to click on the links within. It is a phishing email which will have a malware load.

The subject line contains the words ‘2019 Dioceses Policy Agreement’ and recipients are encouraged to log in with their email address and password to obtain the document. Please do not do this. The email is signed ‘the Secretary General’.

All necessary steps have been taken to rectify the situation.
