Tearfund Organises Social Justice Weekend for Young People

Tearfund Ireland are organising an exciting weekend in Ovoca Manor for young people looking to become advocates for change.

From March 6 to 8, they will be gathering a group of young people (aged 18–30) for a weekend in Ovoca Manor called Follow Justice.

The Follow Justice Weekend will embolden and empower young Christians to step into their God–given potential to become advocates for change.

They’ll teach you how to run a successful advocacy campaign and help you discover what you’re passionate about. With activities and workshops on social justice topics such as creation care and global poverty, Tearfund will give you examples of social movements and help you discover what you’re passionate about. But ideas are nothing without action, so they’ll help you to come up with your own campaign ideas and support you to achieve these.

If you’re between the ages of 18 and 30 and want to discover how your faith can help you pursue justice through advocacy, Tearfund would love to see you there.

Deadline for registration is February 14. The cost of the weekend (including food, accommodation and a hoodie) is €35 per person.
