Webinar: Response of Faith Communities to the Covid–19 Crisis

Dublin City Interfaith Forum (DCIF) has teamed up with the Anglican Church in Finland to host a webinar on how faith communities are responding to the ongoing Covid–19 Crisis. Archbishop Michael Jackson will chair the panel for the webinar which takes place on Friday May 15 from 11am to 12 noon (Irish time).

People are struggling with every kind of decision in their lives right now. Amid the crisis and uncertainty, every edge of every relationship is already showing. Pastoral relationships are not exempt. How are our leaders leading through uncharted territory, meeting moral obligations of loving our neighbors and ourselves, guiding and caring for our people in an unprecedented time of uncertainty, and holding out hope in the face of despair?

Addressing these questions will be panellists Hilary Abrahamson of Dublin City Interfaith Forum, the Revd Katri Kuusikallio of the National Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland, the Revd Alan Hilliard, Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Service for TU Dublin, the Revd Eeva–Kaisa Heikura of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Finland and the Revd Tuomas Mäkipää of the Anglican Church in Finland.

While the hosts and guest speakers will address these questions they invite you to be part of this conversation. The duration will be approximately one hour. Participation will be ensured through polls and Q&As.
