Welcome Back – Public Worship Resumes Tomorrow – Online Worship Continues
Many churches will reopen for public worship tomorrow morning, Sunday July 5. By now each parish will have prepared a detailed plan of how returning to church will operate locally so please check with your own parish to find out what steps your Rector and Select Vestry have put in place to keep people in church safe.
In the video below, RTE's Bryan Dobson outlines the general guidelines from hand sanitising and respiratory etiquette to leaving no trace when you leave church. Most importantly if you, or someone you have been in contact with, have shown symptoms of Covid-19 in recent days please stay at home.
While churches are reopening, many are continuing to provide worship online. Many parishes have installed livestreaming equipment so that people who do not feel comfortable returning to church just yet can continue to join their parish from their homes. Details of the various platforms parishes have been using are available in the table below.

The Cathedral Eucharist will be celebrated in Christ Church Cathedral at 11am tomorrow, as it has been every Sunday since lockdown. But this time worshipers will be welcomed back. Read the measures put in place for returning to worship in the cathedral here.
St Patrick's Cathedral will have three services tomorrow: 9.15 said Eucharist, 11.15 sung Matins, 15.15 sung Evensong.
The Revd Ken Rue continues to put together material for use when worshiping at home. Resources for Sunday July 5 are available here and include a podcast sermon by ordinand, Philip McKinley.
Meanwhile, Canon Horace McKinley will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination (deacon) tomorrow. This will be marked at the 10.30am service in Whitechurch. He was ordained on that date by Archbishop Buchanan in Christ Church, along with four others.
