Back to School Back Pack Drive at Christ Church Cathedral
Getting ready to go back to school can be a challenge for many families, and especially those living within the direct provision system. Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, is holding a Backpack Drive from August 6 to 9 in association with Every Child is Your Child.
They are seeking donations of:
· One4All vouchers—these are especially helpful, as families can use them to purchase tablet computers or other items of technology which are particularly important to help students as they progress to secondary school.
· Basic school supplies: copy books, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, glue sticks, pencil cases, ring binders, math sets, scientific calculators.
· Basic uniform items (Ages 8 and up, boys and girls): grey/navy/black trousers and skirts; white shirts; green/red/blue jumpers.
· Backpacks, lunch boxes and drinks bottles.
