Church of Ireland Healthcare Chaplain
Fixed Term with expected duration of three years
A full–time Healthcare Chaplain is required to work in the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough. The chaplain will be based at Beaumont Hospital and will lead and provide ministry on behalf of the Church of Ireland across a number of Hospitals in North Dublin City. Part–time working opportunities can also be considered.
The ideal candidate should:
· Be an Accredited Healthcare Chaplain Recognised by the Chaplaincy Accreditation Board (CAB) or the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board (HCB)
· Have experience of working in an acute Healthcare setting
· Have experience in working in diverse Healthcare settings
· Be familiar with, uphold and respect, the ethos and practices of the Church of Ireland
· Be prepared to work as part of the Church of Ireland team and also as part of hospital chaplaincy teams and multi–disciplinary teams in the hospitals assigned
· Have experience of working with patients with diverse care needs
· Have proven interpersonal skills
· Have ability to work on own initiative
