Epiphany Reflection
Archbishop Michael Jackson continues his four week series of reflections based on the Gospel readings for each Sunday in Epiphany.
The theme of the series is ‘Lessons in applying wisdom…’ and a new reflection will be available to watch each Sunday morning on the diocesan website and on the Dublin & Glendalough YouTube channel. Subscribe to the channel now so as not to miss a video.
In the third of his reflections for Epiphany 2021, the Archbishop looks at St Mark 1: 14–20. Jesus said to them, Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men … ‘Jesus said to them, Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men … ‘ [St Mark 1: 17]. The reading and Collect are read this week by Myra Moody, Diocesan Reader from Donoughmore and Donard with Dunlavin. Recording is by the Revd Nigel Pierpoint and Myra Moody.
RTÉ Televised Service
A Service from St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, led by the Very Revd Niall Sloane, Dean of Limerick, will be broadcast on Sunday January 24 at 2.15pm on the RTÉ News Channel. The preacher will be the Dean’s Vicar, the Revd Bernie Daly.
