If your parish is broadcasting a service and it is not included on the directory please email details to dco@dublin.anglican.org

Thanks to all the clergy of the dioceses and their assistants for making worship possible at this time.

Epiphany Reflection

Archbishop Michael Jackson concludes his four week series of reflections based on the Gospel readings for each Sunday in Epiphany.

The theme of the series is ‘Lessons in applying wisdom…’ and a new reflection will be available on Sunday morning on the diocesan website and on the Dublin & Glendalough YouTube channel. Subscribe to the channel now so as not to miss a video.

In the fourth of his reflections for Epiphany 2021, Archbishop Jackson looks at St Mark 1: 21–28. “Jesus and his disciples went to Capernaum; and when the sabbath came, he entered the synagogue and taught.” [St Mark 1.21] The reading and Collect are read this week by Geoffrey McMaster, Diocesan Reader based in Celbridge and Straffan with Newcastle–Lyons. Recording is by the Revd Nigel Pierpoint and Geoffrey McMaster.

RTÉ Televised Service

RTÉ Sunday Worship on 31 January 2021 will be led by Mark Bowyer and sung by choristers representing RSCM Ireland. Broadcast from the RTÉ studios, the choristers will be directed by Blanaid Murphy and accompanied by David Grealy. The music and readings will reflect the theme of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple. The service will be broadcast at 11:10am on RTÉ One television and at the same time on RTÉ Radio 1 Extra (252LW or DAB). It will also be available later on the RTÉ Player.
