Reflection for Ascension Day by the Archbishop of Dublin
Today is Ascension Day (Thursday May 13) and Archbishop Michael Jackson offers this short reflection, which you can watch below, based on Danel 7: 13 “As I watched in the night visions, I saw one like a human being coming with the clouds of heaven. And he came to the Ancient One and was presented before him.”
Over the coming days between Ascension and Pentecost there will be a series of reflections from Christ Church and St Patrick’s cathedrals complemented by musical recordings from the cathedrals’ choirs.
Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, the Very Revd Dermot Dunne, brings tomorrow’s reflection ‘Come Holy Spirit’ which concludes with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral singing ‘Veni Creator’.
