Last day to donate to Al Ahli Hospital Gaza appeal – Prayers for older people in Ireland and the Holy Land

Today (Friday June 11) is the final day of Dublin & Glendalough Council for Mission’s appeal for Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza city. You can continue to donate securely online via the website of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin https://christchurchcathedral.ie/al-ahli/ This donation portal will close at 5pm today.
On this final day of the appeal, Canon Adrienne Galligan, Rector of Rathfarnham, and Shona Rusk, Diocesan Reader in Chapelizod, lead prayers for older people in both Ireland and Gaza outside St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park.
Over the last three weeks Canon Galligan, and a number of other people, have walked or rollerbladed 100 kilometres – the distance from Gaza city to Jerusalem – to raise funds and awareness for Al Ahli Hospital.
