Canon Arthur Barrett was installed as the 12th Canon of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, on Sunday May 15 by the cathedral’s Dean, the Very Revd Dermot Dunne.

The installation took place at Choral Evensong which was sung by the Cathedral Choir. The service was attended by Canon Barrett’s wife, Brigid, and their family and friends as well as parishioners from Arklow, Inch and Kilbride where he has been Rector since January 2021. He was previously Dean of Raphoe.

He succeeds Canon Olive Donohoe who has retired.
