December 2024 Church Review Out Now
Also – It’s time to renew your subscription!
The December 2024 issue of The Church Review, the diocesan magazine of Dublin and Glendalough, is out now and subscribers will be able to pick it up in their parish church from Sunday.
The front cover recalls a joyful Diocesan Schools Service which took place in Christ Church Cathedral. Writing in his regular column, John Deane–O’Keeffe focuses on Christmas puns and levity in the Bible. There is an interesting feature written by the editor and recently retired Rector of Delgany, the Revd Nigel Waugh, on a great day out in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
Dublin and Glendalough Youth Council remind readers about their brand new internship programme which is open for applications from 18–25 year olds now. There is also a report from Dublin City Interfaith Forum’s International Peace Day conference along with a host of other news items from around Dublin and Glendalough and more than 40 pages of parish news.
It is that time of year when subscriptions are due for renewal. A yearly subscription to the Church Review would also make a great Christmas present. Since 2009 the Church Review annual subscription has remained at €40. Due to escalating costs, it is now necessary to revise the cost and from 2025 the annual subscription will be €45. This increase works out at less than 50c per issue so your Church Review subscription is still great value for money and keeps readers up to date with all the news from around the dioceses.
There is a subscription renewal form in the December issue of the magazine and more information is available on our website here: https://dublin.anglican.org/news/church-review/subscriptions
