DGYC Big Day Out and Youth Service
DGYC – Dublin and Glendalough Youth Council – is organising its next Big Day Out and is inviting young people from all over the dioceses to come along.
The Big Day Out will take place on Saturday October 4 at Taney Parish, Dundrum, at 4pm. It will be followed by a Commissioning Service for DGYC’s new interns.
These days always prove to be a hit and this year DGYC is planning to have activities, games, team challenges and of course…inflatables. They will then have a BBQ together with live music followed by a youth service where everyone will be praying for and sending the new DGYC Interns to their placements in parishes in Dublin and Glendalough.
All of this is free, you just need to make sure you bring leaders/guardians for your young people. Please let DGYC’s Youth Ministry Coordinator, Emma Fawcett, know if you’re coming so she can gauge numbers – dgyc.office@gmail.com
If you cannot join for the day, but would love to come to the service at 7pm you will be very welcome. This is open to everyone.
