Church of Ireland Flood Relief Fund Open for Applications

Church of Ireland Flood Relief Fund Open for Applications

As people around the island of Ireland continue to deal with flooding, the Representative Church Body (RCB) is encouraging parishes to apply to its Flood Relief Fund which provides a single contribution of up to €5,000 towards costs not covered by insurance.

The scheme is available all year round to support Church of Ireland parishes that are affected by flooding. Applications can be made using the form provided at the link below, which should be submitted along with photos and documentation outlining the damage caused.

Please also provide bank details for an electronic funds transfer to the parish should the application be successful.  There is no closing date for applications, and the scheme will consider applications to cover the costs to a parish church, a parishioner and/or the wider community arising from the impact of flooding.

The Flood Relief Fund application form is available at www.churchofireland.org/resources/701/flood-relief-fund

Completed applications should be submitted to the RCB’s Project Manager, Dermot Burns, at dermot.burns@rcbcoi.org
