Church Music Dublin: Workshop on Accompanying Instrumentalists
Church Music Dublin invites you to their workshop on accompanying instrumentalists on the pipe organ. It will be led by Siobhán Kilkelly (organ) and Ciarán O’Connell (flute).
The workshop takes place on Saturday November 7th 2026 in Rathfarnham Parish Church of Ireland, Main Street, Rathfarnham, Dublin (D14 TN93).
Registration from 1:30pm.
Workshop: 2–4pm.
Presentation of ACCM Certificates: 4:30pm– 5:00pm.
Fee: €10 (payable in advance or on the day).
Join musicians from across the dioceses for an engaging workshop that will provide practical advice for organists collaborating with other musicians in a church setting. CMD’s ACCM students will take turns accompanying flautist Ciarán, giving you an opportunity to observe and learn from the feedback that Siobhán provides.
The workshop is open to all who love music and worship—no matter your level of experience. The content is designed to be of most benefit to church organists.
There will be a tea/coffee break after the workshop. All music will be provided in a booklet on the day.
At 4.30pm participants will celebrate those who have successfully completed the Archbishop’s Certificate in Church Music, with certificates presented to this year’s recipients. Music will be performed by the workshop participants. All our welcome to join at 4:30pm free of charge.
