Church in the Digital Space

This guide is a summary of the main points of the Church of England Digital Labs Conference which took place online in October 2020. It is intended for clergy and those who assist with digital communications in parishes to act as a starting point to consider where they go from here.

An estimated 4 billion people worldwide are online. Churches at all levels have been more hesitant to engage in the digital world than other sectors. However, Covid–19 accelerated matters and many parishes posted services online during successive lockdowns. As society emerges from restrictions it is time to consider how church and the digital world can intersect.

This guide is a summary of the main points of the Church of England Digital Labs Conference which took place online in October 2020.
