Battle of Clontarf Commemoration at Church of St John the Baptist

Representatives of the six parishes in the Clontarf area lit candles from the Paschal Candle and placed them on the alter as part of the Rite of Peace and Reconciliation which took place during the ecumenical service to commemorate the 1,000th anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf which took place in the Church of St John the Baptist.
