The Diocesan Committee on Social Action launched their ‘Handy to Have’ leaflet in St Catherine’s Church, Thomas Street, yesterday evening (February 27). The leaflet contains the contact details for a wide range of organisations dealing with a range of issues including addiction, abuse, children the elderly, disability, counselling/support, homelessness, financial and migrant services. Pictured are Scott Hayes of Ecclesiastical; the Revd Isaac Delamere, chair of the Diocesan Social Action Committee; the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, who launched the leaflet; and Nigel Warburton, David Whyte and Mildred Beresford (Hon Sec) of the social action committee.
