The Sunday School Society’s Bookshop in Rathmines, closed its doors for the final time today (March 28). The society announced its intention to close the resource centre in February stating that: “due to a reduction in retail business and the increased number of people who shop online it has been decided to close the bookshop”. The committee of the Sunday School Society is expected to announce a new venture in the near future. Pictured are Betty Cox and Gillian Kohlmann who ran the shop.
