Participants in the Ecumenical Walk of Light prepare to set off from Adelaide Road Presbyterian Church in torrential rain. This is the eighth year of the walk which involved members of Adelaide Road Presbyterian Church; St Finian’s Lutheran Churches; Dublin Korean Church; Holy Trinity Rathmines, Church of Ireland; Methodist Centenary Church; Church of Our Lady of Refuge, Roman Catholic; St Ann and St Stephen’s, Church of Ireland; St Mary’s, Roman Catholic Church; St Bartholomew’s and Christ Church, Leeson Park, Church of Ireland; Newman University Church, Roman Catholic; St Teresa’s Carmelite Church, Roman Catholic; and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
